Philadelphia Wooden Boat Factory is located at 2126 West Moyamensing Avenue in South Philadelphia. We are open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. We often work later than 6 pm and sometimes on Saturday and Sunday. Telephone ahead to be sure.
Directions from Center City Philadelphia: Take Broad Street (route 611) south. Turn right onto Oregon Avenue. Proceed on Oregon Avenue 6 blocks to 20th Street. Turn left onto 20th Street. At the second traffic light (you will see the Penrose Diner straight ahead) turn hard right, as soon as you come out into the intersection onto Moyamensing Avenue. Moyamensing Avenue is a dead end street and PWBF is at the end on your left.
Directions from route 76 East: Proceed on route 76 to exit 347B, Passyunk Oregon Avenue. At the traffic light, go straight, which is Oregon Avenue. Proceed 5 blocks to 20th Street. Turn right onto 20th Street. At the second traffic light (you will see the Penrose Diner straight ahead) turn hard right, as soon as you come out into the intersection onto Moyamensing Avenue. Moyamensing Avenue is a dead end street and PWBF is at the end on your left.
Directions from route 95 North: Take exit 17, for the Sports Complex off of route 95. Go towards center city and the stadiums. Turn left at the first light onto Pattison Avenue. At the first light on Pattison Avenue, turn right on 20th Street. Proceed on 20th Street 5 blocks, to the first light. At the 6 way intersection (you will see Penrose Diner on your left) turn left, on Moyamensing Avenue. Do not go under the expressway bridge. Moyamensing Avenue is a dead end street and PWBF is at the end on your left.
Directions from route 95 South: Take exit 13, 291 West and 76 West. This will take you over the George Platt Bridge (also know as Penrose Ferry Bridge). At the first light after the bridge, proceed straight through the light (you are now on Penrose Avenue). Continue straight through the next light. At the second light you will be at a 6 way intersection (you will see Penrose Diner on your right), turn left, on Moyamensing Avenue. Do not go under the expressway bridge. Moyamensing Avenue is a dead end street and PWBF is at the end on your left..
Directions from the Walt Whitman Bridge: Proceed on route 76 off of the bridge. Take exit 44 (Penrose Avenue 291). At the end of the ramp turn left on Penrose Avenue. At the 6 way intersection (you will see Penrose Diner on your right) on Moyamensing Avenue. Do not go under the expressway bridge. Moyamensing Avenue is a dead end street and PWBF is at the end on your left.
